Lakewood Ranch law firm Butler Elder Law has joined Butler Legacy & Litigation, PLLC! In addition to its existing Elder Law practice, the firm has added a new litigation practice group. The litigation group will allow the firm to provide more comprehensive service to its clients, while also adding complementary practice areas focused on elder/consumer protection law, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business litigation.

Founding partner Sierra Butler will continue leading the firm’s Legacy group, carrying on Butler Elder Law’s work protecting seniors and vulnerable adults, as well as helping families plan for the future. Sierra opened Butler Elder Law in May of 2016, firmly establishing the firm’s solid reputation for over a decade in Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton.

Board-Certified attorney Jesse R Butler, will be heading the firm’s Litigation group. He brings over 15 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation matters, including legal malpractice, fiduciary negligence, consumer law, insurance disputes, and general civil litigation. In addition, he represents parties in complex appellate matters. Jesse is a well-established state legal in the legal profession. He is a member of the Florida Bar’s Board of Governors, where he has served on numerous committees related to attorney ethics, discipline, and regulation. Before joining Butler Legacy & Litigation, Jesse was a shareholder in one of the areas most well-established litigation firms, where he led the firm’s professional liability and appellate practices. He has extensive experience representing consumers, individuals, beneficiaries, and others in protecting and enforcing their rights.
